All human touch is not lost, you still have the option to edit the outfit by adding and removing items, it’s simply a useful tool to get the ball rolling. At Whering, our AI outfit maker is BETA which means we’re still developing it. Our tech team is working hard to improve it, so you’ll find it only gets better from here.

Can my friends make outfits for me?
Following the launch of Whering Social, your friends and followers can make outfits for you- and you can make outfits for them! Delve into your bestie’s closet, Moodboard and Wishlist to make an outfit you know they’re going to love.
You know them better than anyone– forget TikTok fashion trends or magazines, you’re styling your friend based on what you think would complement their personal style or maybe even push them out of their comfort zone.
Making an outfit for them will send them a style submission which they can add to their wardrobe if they like it. The ultimate styling challenge begins!
To start styling someone, tap on their profile icon to be taken to their closet. Tap the ‘Style [username]’ button to select items from their wardrobe.

We love Whering because it’s completely free to make unlimited outfits. Whering has all the features you could ever want in an outfit maker app! From being able to add friends, schedule outfits, track cost per wear, and see personalised usage stats, to making packing lists and Lookbooks, there’s so much to help you explore your wardrobe on Whering.

Acloset is one of the most popular outfit maker apps out there, but they recently introduced a subscription fee– it’s now hundreds of dollars to access all their features. If you have a big wardrobe, this may not be the app for you as there are paid limits on how many items you can add.
Indyx
Indyx is a sleek and neutral-toned app designed to help users make outfits easily, but it lacks the fun and creativity of other outfit maker apps. There are no styling tools to help you get creative and discover more from your current wardrobe, meaning you have to make all outfits yourself.
Much like Acloset, the full Indyx experience is behind a paywall. To get everything the app offers you need to be prepared to pay a minimum of $110 for their styling services. There is a budget version at $15 monthly, but you only get two new outfit suggestions every 30 days. On other wardrobe apps, you can get multiple new combinations whenever you're not sure what to wear, for free.
Combyne
Combyne is a playful app, perfect for making outfits. It’s colourful and bold, designed for creating outfits, rather than tracking what you wear. It’s not essential to add your own items as they have hundreds of pieces already uploaded to make outfits from, but this means you can’t log your day-to-day outfits anywhere, or see any real-time data on what you’re wearing daily.
