Defining your personal style can be difficult. We're sharing 11 questions that helped us decipher what we truly enjoy wearing.

  • Look at your current favourite items, what do they have in common? What do you like about them?

  • Think about clothes you dislike. Why don’t you like them?

  • Map the evolution of your style. Is there anything that stands out as something you're always drawn to?

  • If your favourite jacket suddenly went out of style, would you still wear it? How dependent are you on trends when thinking about what you like to wear?

  • What do you usually look for when buying something new? Colour? Pattern? Texture? Cut?

  • Which is most important to you and why?

  • What are your favourite colours, textures and cuts to wear? Why?

  • Describe how different fabrics make you feel - either tell a friend or jot it down on paper.

  • Where do you get your inspiration from? Do you have a positive relationship with this source? E.g does it make you feel inspired or inadequate? Where else could you find inspiration?

  • Can you describe your style in three words?

  • How would you want to hear your style be described by someone else?
